These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of fellsidetrails.com and any digital guides, itineraries, courses or related services supplied by Fellside Trails Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By using this website or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms.

We publish Lake District walking guides, fell route notes, lakeside itineraries, heritage village tours and outdoor masterclasses. Content is for informational and recreational planning. Itineraries are recommendations, not guarantees of route conditions, opening hours, transport reliability, weather, or trip outcomes.

3. Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malware, or disrupt services
• Do not scrape or commercially republish substantial content without written permission
• Do not submit false, abusive or unlawful material via forms

4. Mountain Weather, Terrain and Outdoor Safety

Lake District fells involve steep ground, exposure, rapid weather change, navigation challenges and other inherent risks. Before any walk you must:

• Check current mountain weather forecasts and daylight
• Carry appropriate clothing, footwear, map/compass (or equivalent skills), food, water and emergency kit
• Choose routes matching your experience and the day's conditions
• Be prepared to turn back if conditions deteriorate

Guides do not replace professional mountain instruction, guided leadership, or your own on-the-day judgement.

5. Fitness and Personal Responsibility

You are responsible for assessing your fitness, medical suitability and group capability for any route. If you have doubts about ability or health, seek appropriate medical or professional outdoor advice before attempting fell walks.

6. Products, Bookings and Delivery

Prices are shown in £and include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise. Digital products are typically delivered by email or download after purchase confirmation. Bespoke itinerary services commence after we confirm scope and payment. Delivery times for custom work will be stated in correspondence.

7. Cancellation and Cooling-Off

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply. For digital content, if you request immediate delivery and expressly acknowledge loss of the 14-day cooling-off right, that right may not apply once supply has begun. 8. Intellectual Property

All website text, branding, layout, route notes, maps structure and course materials are owned by or licensed to Fellside Trails Ltd. You may use purchased materials for personal non-commercial trip planning. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly republish them without prior written consent.

We are an independent publisher and are not affiliated with the Lake District National Park Authority, National Trust, or local councils. Links to third-party attractions, transport, accommodation or cafes are for convenience only; we are not responsible for their services, prices or availability.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Website content and digital products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we aim for accuracy in 2026 route notes, paths, gates, transport and facilities can change without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from outdoor activities undertaken in reliance on our informational guides. Our total liability for website-related claims is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant product or service in the 12 months before the claim, or £100 if no payment was made.
